The Props are a Saigon-based original rock band featuring drums, bass, guitar and vocals. With members from the four corners of the globe, their sound is influenced by many genres including punk, funk, blues, indie rock and alt country. One local columnist described them as "The Velvet Underground meets Wilco". From melodic anti-ballads, to rump-shaking melees, Props shows are known to be dynamic, raucous and cathartic.

was huge, and we raised enough money for VIP to build the trainee house!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out on Friday to to support our album release despite a long week of cold and rain. We had a great time and loved the energy from the crowd. Thanks also to Kulture, Vaughan, Toothbrush, Only Reggae and HRC!

We're going into the studio this weekend to master our new album, "Year of the Horse". We have sneak peak tracks available on our music page, but check back in two weeks for the finalized product. We're also doing our CD release party at HRCon the 18th of March. More details to follow soon!
